Why am I asked to redo my video introduction?

There are various reasons why you are being asked to redo your video interview. You  might not have followed the format provided and your audio or video might also be unclear. Therefore, it is important to note the following requirements when doing your video introduction: 

• Use a clean background. Kindly ensure that your background is plain or free from their distractions or clutter. This is to ensure that you are the main focus when doing the video and that there are no distractions when the client is viewing your profile. 
• Use your preferred name. To protect your privacy, only preferred names or first names must be used in the video. There’s no need to state your full name, age, and address. 
• Dress Appropriately. The first thing you should do to make a good first impression is to look clean, neat, and professional. The aim is for the client to concentrate on you and your abilities, not on the clothes that you are wearing. Dress in the manner in which you would like to be perceived, which should be as a successful professional and the kind of person a company would want to represent. Smart casual is recommended. 
• Maintain eye contact. Be natural! Do not read directly from a script! Look into the camera, and make it as though you are speaking directly to the client.
