What is the difference between applicants, candidates, and contractors?

People often confuse these terms, so let us break them down for you!

APPLICANT----> CANDIDATE----> CONTRACTOR

Applicants

Are job seekers who have "applied" for our job openings. They have either sent their application to us via email, social media, job sites, or directly on our careers page.

Candidates

are applicants who passed our screening process. These candidates have been vetted by recruiters, have verified their system requirements, and are ready to be endorsed to our prospects and clients.

Contractors

Are those who have been given an offer for a project and have signed an agreement with CrewBloom. They must be actively working for CrewBloom to be considered a contractor.

To summarize, people always start as applicants, and when they pass the screening process, they become candidates. Once they've been selected by any of CrewBloom's clients or by CrewBloom itself, they will be given an offer, and if they accept it, they will become contractors.
